Bronchoscopy is a diagnostic and sometimes therapeutic procedure that allows direct visualization of the airways. Using a thin, flexible tube with a camera (bronchoscope), Dr. Piyu Jain can inspect the inside of the lungs, collect biopsies, remove blockages, or control bleeding. It's used to investigate persistent cough, hemoptysis (coughing blood), lung masses, and infections not visible on X-ray or CT.
